| The Artist's Cottage at Farr, near Inverness, was built in 1992 from an unexecuted design prepared by Mackintosh in 1900. The owners commissioned Robert Hamilton to realise the project, using the four elevational drawings and floor plan of the original scheme. The building, which incorporates a studio, is thought to have been intended as a country home for Mackintosh and his wife. The house comprises a two storey cube with a single storey extension to one side. |
